Changes

It’s been a while since I started writing for this little newsletter.

I have literally loved every minute of it, and appreciate every single one of you who have opened, read, subscribed and taken time out of your Friday afternoon to check out my columns.

It’s an absolute honor to be able to do this.

Sports cards are my passion and have been since I was a little kid.

The journey has been amazing, and I can’t wait to see where it leads going forward.

That said, I’ve made a decision to continue to share this journey, experiences and stories with all of you. However, I’m also going to try to sprinkle in some more in-depth columns moving forward.

The suggestion was made to me from a reader who said the stories were very cool, but he wanted to know just how I applied this experience to the card game.

So, that’s what I am going to do — focus more on stuff like that, along with what you guys have been reading from me for more than 75 editions now.

What does this mean?

Well, it means I’m going to break down some products, delve a little deeper into the business side of the industry.
I’m also going to highlight my beloved hockey more.

It’s the most wonderful community of collectors and it’s also a hobby facet that I know pretty well.

I want all of you to experience the hockey hobby as well.

It also means I’m going to add some interviews and feature-style stories into these columns.

Podcasters, breakers, big-time collectors, hobby-insiders and just average-Joe and Jane hobby lovers will be on the agenda.

I’m also going to intermingle this column with my upcoming show on Card Shop Live, hoping to cross over some of the info and insight into this column.

It’s ambitious, but it’s worth it!

So, next week, we’re going to be looking at 21-22 Upper Deck SPA and breaking that down for collectors and hockey lovers.

So, that’s the story, folks…

I hope you approve, and if you don’t… I hope I can win you over.
